A preface about the San Diego stuff

I was going to let this section's pages die, but got chastized by a Miva friend that it might be taken wrong. Again.

When they were first posted in August '99, some portions sincerely offended some people. Some were upset because I used dirty words in the text. Others were pissed because they thought I had shafted Miva Corp unfairly. And one went somewhat ballistic over my closing comments in particular.

So if the following pages make you mad or something -- get over it. I'm not the unibomber -- just a Mivageek. Although in some circles they are considered similar, it is just another language barrier thing.
